James Tweed
Don McLaverty
Don is currently a Lay Councillor (Trustee) at the University of Bath where he is also a Member of the Finance Committee, a Member of the University Commercialisation Executive Board and the Vice Chancellors Ethics Committee. Previously, he was a Board Trustee and Chair of the twenty-nine strong advisory Fellowship Council at the Royal Society of Arts. He is an advisor to a portfolio of commercial clients including high-growth SME’s and scale-up firms, which often have technology as a differentiator. Recent engagements include Innovate UK, UKAEA and the Goldman Sachs 10k Programme.
Nicholas Pearson OBE
Elected Member of The London Stock Exchange in 1976.
For over 30 years specialised in developing professional and tailored services to Charities and Charitable Trusts for their Endowment Funds.
In 1987, when at Cazenove, founded and set up the first ever Specialist Department for the Charity Sector. The first such Department in London, and probably the first in the World.
Designed and set up two Common Investment Funds (Unit Trusts exclusive for Charities) in consultation with The Charity Commission.
Director and Trustee of The Church of England investment funds.
Special Advisor to The Charity Commission.
In 2002 awarded the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) for Services to the Charity Sector.

Matthew Chester
Matthew is an experienced Executive Coach who blends coaching, leadership, talent management and commercial CRM experience for the benefit of his coachees and clients. Matthew has worked across a broad spectrum of industry sectors during his business career – from Retail to Professional Services. He is passionate about advising leaders to get the most out of any business opportunity through the influence of a clear purposeful path. His business career was born out in supply side resourcing which then led him to work on resourcing and HR projects in-house with Marks and Spencer, and Accenture. As a board director with HR recruiter Digby Morgan, he was responsible for relationship management and business development in addition to leading teams of consultants across the business.
Matthew has undertaken voluntary work with the Prince’s Trust working with individuals to realise opportunities through the building of basic human needs: safety, care, belief, and self-confidence. He is a strong advocate for the nurturing of total reward to enhance performance in the workplace.
